House built in 2007, located in the quiet, calm and picturesque parish of Calheta do Nesquim, Ilha do Pico, a fishing village, next to the sea where interaction with whaling culture reigns.
Still on your holiday on Pico Island, you can watch Whales and Dolphins, climb the highest mountain in Portugal, see the fauna and flora, and the great landscape contrasts, among the lobster of the areas devastated by volcanic lava, where the vineyards, and the good wine from the peak is produced, and fertile and productive land, where agriculture and livestock are practiced, producing excellent beef and the so famous Queijo do Pico.
Good bathing areas (“O PORTO” at 100m, the natural pool “Poça das Mujas” at 500m, and “O portinho” at 1000m), picnic parks, walking trails, whale museum. Ideal place for swimming, diving with and without diving, underwater fishing, sport and cane fishing, hunting, and observation of land and sea birds.
Not forgetting the visit to the Cellar, (within the same property) where you can observe, how homemade wine is still made, by the artisanal process, with grapes produced by the owner. And wine and brandy served with homemade cookies, also made by the owner.
