In the heart of the Ribeira Lima valley, in the village of Fontão, in one of the most picturesque towns in Minho, the accommodation is located. It is located 7 km from Ponte de Lima, the oldest village in Portugal and 15 km from Viana do Castelo, where the proximity of the beaches contrasts with the vast area of vineyards and farms.
The house is inserted in a 10ha farm, built in typical Minho architecture, surrounded by vegetation and surrounded by granite walls, offering great privacy and providing the peace of a retreat.
Located in a densely wooded area, the house is surrounded by the imposing Serra D´Arga and the plain of Rio
Lima, combining beauty worthy of a romantic painting in a privileged location.
The farm also has a stream of clear and pure waters, where you can bathe and fish for trout.
The existing land is intended for the cultivation of corn, which is intended for fodder for cattle.
Crossing the emblazoned gate of the entrance, we can find an open courtyard that leads through a
large granite staircase at the main entrance of the house.
The main façade is surrounded by several granite agricultural outbuildings, including an old cellar and a barn that lead to a monumental threshing floor with 4000 meters in granite, considered the largest in Portugal.
It is also composed of a beautiful garden from which you can enjoy a stunning scenery of mountains where the green and
the blue intertwines and the silence invites to dream, serenity and introspection, an ideal environment for an escape from stress and living with nature.
