The Apartment is located in the center of the medieval village of Portel, (Alentejo Central), a town that dates back to the beginning of nationality, with its imposing castle dating from the 13th century and the Mother Church (18th century), two important icons of the village of Portel. In the heart of Serra de Portel, with access via IP2, equidistant 39 km from Évora (to the north) and Beja (to the south).
Access to the river beach of Amieira, next to the great Lake Alqueva, 15 minutes by car (12 km) and to several other river beaches within a radius of 50 km.
It is a century-old family home, with many life stories from the generations of people who lived there. Its facilities have been completely rehabilitated to welcome its guests and visitors from this Alentejo region.
We have at your disposal a large independent floor, with four air-conditioned double rooms, two full bathrooms, a large lounge with a living and dining area, a tea room, a modern equipped kitchen and a lounge on the panoramic terrace with a privileged view over the castle, the Matriz church and the beautiful gardens of the surrounding area.
