You will also be able to enjoy all that the rest zone has to offer, Santa cruz do Douro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was considered one of the most beautiful landscapes of the River Douro Valer. It is on the border between a granite area and the demarcated Douro wine cellar. Here is the place called “Caminho de jacinto” that starts at the railway station of Tormes and ends at the Fundação Eça de Queiroz, this land was the inspiration for one of his greatest literary works “The city and the mountains”.
The area also has a great offer of typical cuisine and the award-winning wines from the Region and the Douro are available wherever you go. Our traditional smoked meats and “Anho” toast (ask for “anho Assado”) in old stone ovens are available in many local restaurants.

We have to offer you a recently remodeled house by the river, available for long and short stays, so that you can enjoy both a weekend and an extended vacation under the landscapes of the Douro River.

This farm has the possibility of being able to arrive by helicopter if you wish, with space to land it.
We have at your disposal a boat that you can rent for an extra price per day of 200 €, to rent it you must have a sailor's license and take out personal risk insurance.
One of the renowned restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal is the DOC by the famous chef Rui Paula, with a fantastic view of the Douro River.
Note: the capacity of the house is 4 rooms for a stay for 9 people, but we have the possibility to go up to 13 people as we have two more suites attached to the house.
Even being 9 people and if you want to be more comfortable and want to enjoy the suites on the reservation you must select number of people 13, if you choose 9 people the suites will not be available.
