The House is on the ground floor of the mother house.

The Casarão is an imposing country house, recovered, having been returned all the traces, character and unique beauty of the past. It is a family home with the hosts living on the first floor.
Leaving Tomar and following the Estrada do Prado, skirting the banks of the River Nabão, you arrive at the picturesque village of Pedreira, whose name derives from the fact that it is here that some of the stones that helped to build the Convent of Christ (heritage world) in Tomar.
The Casarão itself, also built in stone, boasts imposing slabs on its balconies, engraved with fossils of marine animals that support the thesis that the sea, in remote times, “has already passed through here”.
The House is furnished and decorated with refinement and comfort. The environment is quiet and selected and privacy is primed. The property is fenced with high fortress-like walls.
Access to the garden, surrounding patios, the swimming pool (L 14m x W 5mx P from 1m to 2m gradually) and changing rooms.

It's composed by:
• Entrance hall with sideboard, lady, hanger and mirror;
• Lounge equipped with: sofa (does not make a bed), 2 maples, central table, sideboard, china cabinet, dining table with 4 chairs, high chair for baby, flat screen TV (only national channels temporarily), wifi;
• Fully equipped kitchenette (combi, hob, oven, microwave, hand blender, electric coffee maker (water), pressure coffee maker (coffee), electric grill, cooking equipment, frying pans, oven tray, crockery, cutlery, towels, kitchen accessories, organic waste basket and plastic packaging basket;
• Shed adjacent to the kitchenette, which allows outdoor dining;
• Quarto do Lagar (Suite with 23 m2). Equipped with double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, bed linen, desk, lady, stone bathroom with large shower area, towels, hairdryer, hygienic shower in the toilet and toilet paper
• Room of the Sinks (Suite with 21 m2). Equipped with a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, bed linen, two chairs, side table, stone bathroom with shower cabin, towels, hairdryer, hygienic shower in the toilet and toilet paper,

Maximum capacity per Suite: 2 adults and 1 child up to 12 years old, or 1 adult and 2 children (possibility of requesting an extra bed – somersault, for a child)
Total house capacity: 4 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 4 children
Cleaning: weekly change of bed linen and towels and/or SOS. Possibility to request a laundry service (ironing not included). Cleaning every 3 days and/or SOS.
Safety: all rooms have a fire extinguisher, the pool has a lifebuoy and careful cleaning is carried out when guests leave.
Given the depth of the pool, young children or those who do not know how to swim are recommended to use armbands and permanent supervision by an adult.
Accessibility: as it is an old house, the property has unavoidable architectural barriers (stairs and uneven slab floor) for people with severe motor difficulties. All stairs have handrails.

Check-in: between 15:00 – 19:00.
Check-out: until 11 am.
Parking: free.
Permission to smoke: Only in outdoor spaces.
Organization of events: They will only be allowed if previously agreed with the hosts
Pets: we do not receive.

The Casarão has 2 more independent Suites with the same capacity per Suite. You can thus enjoy the entire space of the property with your family or friends in complete privacy.
Several attractions to explore in the vicinity: the viewpoint of Pena, the Church of Nossa Senhora das Neves, the Interpretation Center, river beaches (Fonte do Caldeirão, Sobreirinho, Lapas and Açude de Pedra), walking or cycling tours through the countryside and valley do Nabão, 4x4 tours (UMM) with the hosts…
The village has 2 mini-markets (Fátima and Luísa), a small cafe (Cantinho da Taça) and a small restaurant (Prodigo), amenities that will make your stay easier.
Tomar, a historic city so close by, has unmissable points of interest: the Castle and the Convent of Christ with its emblematic Janela do Chapter, Mata dos 7 Montes, the Fósforos museum, the Contemporary Art Museum, the Cultural Complex and the Levada Museum. , Synagogue (national monument), churches, Mouchão garden, kayak tours in Nabão, Pegões Aqueduct, restaurants, terraces and the entire cultural and event agenda (exhibitions, Festa dos Tabuleiros, Medieval Fair, concerts…).
If you want to venture into the outskirts of the city, you can also visit the Sanctuary of Fátima (30 km), enjoy the Castelo de Bode reservoir (20 km), the Lago Azul reservoir and its floating pool (25 km), rides on the S. Cristóvão boat on the Zêzere, river beach of Nascente do Agroal (10 km), Castelo de Almourol (35 km) and Panoramic Trail of the Tagus (Constância/Almourol/Barquinha), 25 km …
A little further away, (72km) but 40 minutes away on the freeway, is Nazaré beach and North beach with its famous giant waves.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if there are at least 14 days left before check-in date. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to check-in. No refunds for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to check-in date.
Deposit: the hosts reserve the right to request a deposit at check-in of up to 25% of the value of the stay, to cover any damage to property / equipment, to be returned in full if these damages do not occur.
