Vacation Apartment with AQ. Central and Wi-Fi - Near Noudar Castle - 2163
It is a century-old house, inherited from grandparents. We did some renovations, put a more modern kitchen and bathroom! We left the typical Alentejo ceilings, in reed and wooden beams and the outer walls in adobe. We like to preserve traditions!
In this simple but comfortable house, we hope that you will feel for a few days, the peace and tranquility of living in a small village in the interior, where the important thing is to discover new people, new cultures, new flavors ... it is to discover unique places and keep them in our memory! Welcome to Barrancos!
You can start by discovering the village, from Alto de S. Bento off Montes Claros, from Praça da Liberdade to Jardim do Miradouro. Visit the Municipal Museum and the Mother Church. In the surroundings, you must visit Noudar Castle, the Nature Park inserted in Monte da Coitadinha, the source of Pipa. Further away, but equally interesting are the Spanish settlements on the border and the Portuguese settlements around the Great Lake: Mourão, Luz, Estrela, Monsaraz. Also the river beaches of Mourão and Monsaraz. To taste the typical flavors of the region, go to the Esquina restaurant, which also has take away.
