Book securely through HomeCarShare, enjoy the benefits and avoid surprises. The owner only receives the reservation signal 24 hours after entering the accommodation.

Booking Process
1º Choose your vacation rental
2º Make the payment through one of our payment methods
3º Booking is confirmed after the payment. Receive the confirmation email and get ready for your stay
4º On check-in date, receive your keys. On check-out date, rate your stay.

Payment methods:
- ATM Reference, an ATM near you or HomeBanking (only in Portugal).
- Credit or Debit Card.
- Paypal

Payment, Cancellation, Refund:
- Payment is made online at moment of the booking.
- In case of cancellation by the traveler, will be applied the cancellation policy that is shown in the details of the chosen accommodation.
- In case of cancellation of the reservation by the owner, the traveler can choose to receive a 100% refund of the amount paid or choose another accommodation.
- If the traveler receives a rating of 4 stars or more, we will gradually refund 50% of the booking amount in credit.

COVID-19: If measures are imposed by the involved Governments / States that do not allow the movement of people on the date of entry and / or departure from the accommodation, the reservation is allowed to be changed to other dates.


50% refund (Points Program)
- At the end of the stay, the traveler uses the email we sent to rate the accommodation and makes a comment to describe his/her experience.
- The owner rates the traveler regarding his / her behavior with the neighborhood and the cleanliness of the accommodation.
- The traveler must ensure that he / she receives a 4 star rating from the owner (or above) to be refunded gradually up to 50% of the amount of his booking, in coupon, for your next vacation.

The booking is only confirmed after the payment by the traveler.

Booking Process
1º The traveler chooses accommodation and makes payment online through the platform or sends a message to owner.
2º The owner immediately receives an email with the booking details.
3º Upon check-in, the owner allows the traveler access to their holiday accommodation. At the check-out evaluates the traveler.
4º The payment is made to the owner upon check-in and transferred to the bank account you indicated on registration.

Fee per booking
- Comission 12,5%+VAT
Payment, Cancellation, Refund:
- Payment is made online at moment of the booking.
- In case of cancellation by the traveler, will be applied the cancellation policy chosen in the accommodation registration.
- In case of cancellation by the owner, the owner will be required to reimburse HomeCarShare the amount of the commission applicable to the reservation in question.
Note: The owner will have 24 hours after receiving the booking to cancel free of charge, if they have synchronized / updated calendars and have accessed their HomeCarShare account at least 1 time in the 3 months prior to the booking.
- If you receive a rating of 4 stars or more, we will gradually refund your commission amount (and more) in credit for your vacation.
