This property was part of a manor house, is located in the center of the village of Santa Marta Bouro. The remodeled house dates back to 1753 and is located 20 km from the village of Gerês.
The accommodation at the house is located in an old cellar and includes a living room with a fireplace and a soft sofa. Some have a sloping roof.
The fully equipped kitchen has a dining area with a 6-seater table and barbecue facilities are available outside. There are regional restaurants serving delicacies such as trout and lamb within a 2 km radius.
Guests can visit the altar of the Church of Santa Marta Bouro, with neoclassical and baroque details. The Cávado River is about 3 km away and offers the possibility to fish and bathe.
The Peneda-Gerês National Park is 21 km away and has hiking trails. Guimarães, known as the birthplace of Portugal, is located 47 km from Casa da Luz, and Braga is 25 km away.
